THE SANCTUARY AT KEY LARGO IS A UNIQUE CONDOMINIUM COMPLEX, NESTLED ON TWENTY-FOUR ACRES OF LUSH, TROPICAL HARDWOOD HAMMOCK FACING THE FLORIDA BAY. IT IS TRULY A SANCTUARY OF BEAUTY, PEACE, AND TRANQUILITY.
Situated on over a quarter-mile of protected bayfront on Buttonwood Bay, The Sanctuary offers you instant access to some of the best fishing and underwater diving or snorkeling in the world. The property enjoys a rich history dating back to the early 1900’s when it was used as crew quarters for men working on the construction of the Flagler railroad (1904 to 1912) and later used as a fishing camp. In fact, the Clubhouse we use today is listed on the National Register of Historic places. It has been a delightful and delicious tradition for many years for Residents to have a “party” at the Clubhouse after Annual Meetings, for New Years Eve, Equinox, or for "no reason at all", etc. We have collected Resident's favorite recipes to share with our Sanctuary neighbors.
